found them floating in the AM, along with a couple of my tetras. water is fine. I think the frozen shrimp I fed them did them in. Bought it at a local supermarket here. Sucks. I had those plecos for over 7 years now. They've survived everything else, from vacation disasters that killed off the rest of the tank, to last year, when I deployed to Iraq, and my wife did not do water changes for 7 months.
The rest of the tank--tetras, juvie Nicaraguenses and geos, and a pair of rainbow cichlids--don't seem affected at all. I have another L-199 that seems ok.
