Feel kind of retarded posting this on a fish website, but I've been sending out and posting info where ever I can, and more unusal stuff has been posted on this website. Figured it couldn't hurt.
Yesterday my cockatiel flew off. I live in Bloomfield NJ. I had him for 5 years, and have always taken him out with a leash without a problem, he is very used to the leash by now and does not try to fly once I put it on him. I was outside my apartment and I had attached him to a pole. My nieghbor was coming out of the driveway and he got spooked and took off (how the leash got untangled I'm not sure). I heard him 5 minutes later calling me but I could not find him, and since then have not seen or heard him. I have called tons of shelters and animal controls in my town and nieghboring towns, I posted him on some lost pet websites. Drove and walked around looking for him. Not sure what else I can do now.
