I have a killifish that looks like it got its eye bitten or somehow ripped off. Anyways, the fish appears to be fine. But now its looking a bit white/fuzzy. So whats the best course of action?

Salt and mela/pimafix?

Thanks

i would isolate that fish from the tank its in now and get some fungus tablets made by tank buddies.

just so that the other fish dont get infected.

Pics? It is bacterial infection. In the first place, daily water changes should have been done until the wound healed up thus preventing secondary infections.

My little severum's eye was ripped out. Put him in a separate tank and used Melafix. He's looking good again (except for needing a parrot and a sword) and is eating.

It might be due to the fact it has an open wound which could end up fatal. I had an oscar that grew Fungi while I was on Vacation and I tried to revive him using The tablet it seemed to work but it started growing back and I had no other options but to let him go. :(
