Hey all,
Sorry to inform, but all my rays are dead. I recently moved and we prepared many many things for the move, but things went terribly wrong.
Anything and everything that could have went wrong , did.
Lost about $15,000.00 in rays to be exact, the money part of it sucks, but to see all those dead rays was sick and yes I did cry for awhile, these were like my pets and I lost them. They just did not take the move weel and it stressed them. They did not all die at once, but over the coarse of 48 to 72 hours. My water was right and everything was good, but not good enough I guess.
A few of them I am having taxidermed.
I am taking a break from rays for awhile, kept them for almost 18 years, but I need break after this tragic event.
If you ever have to move BIG rays, do so with extreme caution !

Darin.

holy hell that is absolutely horrible............:(

sorry to hear.............

wow..sorry to hear..i know you had some "freinds" in that water..sorry for your loss..

YIKES!!!

sorry....

Very unfortunate. I think you are going about it the wrong way though. I think starting over with one fish to care for would be a great way to move on. Best of luck!

right:( .................My horrible day started with me rushing my GTP to the university of penn veterinary clinic (yes the one in my avatar!!)...........and i almost lost it......but some $$$ later and TLC it should pull through................if it doesn't it will be a $500 loss!!!!!!!...........

i cannot amagine your loss.. and at a time where you were probably looking forward to the new move..so sorry for your loss.. moving delicate fish like this is most unpredictable how things will turn out..:(
