Lost my 2" tiger oscar

today i lost my 2" tiger oscar today!!! it had ick and was really beat up but it was healing and doin fine. so one day i go out and come back and he was gone!!! i looked everywhere just in case he jumped but he was no where! Then i looked at my 5" red oscar and he was bloated!!! i didn't even think that his mouth was that big!!!!!!! i know that they can extend there jaw but not like this!!!

poor little fella. Should of have put him in a hospital tank.

thanks and i didn't have a hospital tank at that time.... i just got him to so i didn't really have time to do anything...... he was doin fine too........ nobody was bothering him. i miss him.

No.... it was weird too. when i bought him, he was in a tank filled with like 15 other oscars and all of them except 2 had ick. (2 including mine). but now the bigger oscar isnt gonna be bothering anybody because i bought this flowerhorn and he went psycho on him and hit him in the head so hard that it actually made him partially blind.

how big is your tank. you should make and use a divider. Im not a big oscar fan but i've seen some huge 1s and when they get a certain size they're pretty cool and owner responsive.

Its a 20 gallon but getting a 55. It was weird b/c they got along all the time and then one day he ate him....... but hes doing fine with everybody and i got rid of my flowerhorn
