I lost my best fish a big male texas (freak accident that I wont go into here)

He was my best fish and the aquarium is just not the same without him. Do I have the space to try another cichlid, if yes what would you add to this mix?

the size is 7ft, 84x26x24 to be exact filters are 2 fx5s running bio media in the bottom trays of both.

stock:
2x oscars (11-12")
1x GT (5")
1x salvini (4")
4 tinfoils (b.altus pretty much all grown at around 9-10")

It just feels empty without the mighty texas roaming around

So to recap
am I overstocked? What what you add to this mix if anything?

Amphilophus lyonsi look great and sounds good from a bit of a readup. Got a feeling they might be a little rare in the uk though, if I find one bigger than snack size I will be happy to give that a go.

definitely room to spare rockin the double Fx5, sorry for your loss

aquascape your tank , when u add hiding spots it can make your tank look bigger

I have a chunk of choice drift wood coming very soon, all I have to hand is the stuff from my old small aquarium

Here a few more pics, until next week when I attempt to make it look 1 billion times better...... have faith (that is what I've told the wife anyway :D)
