LOST MY LATES!

i went out to feed my fish.
i see my lates and megladoras iwini hanging out together.
all of the sudden the irwini lashes out its tail and rips open the lates gill plate?!
it died in a mtter of seconds.
now i'll never confirm what it was.

he was actually tryign to dig into the gravel and the lates was resting near its tail.

I think it was a case of extreme bad luck for the lates, of all places, get whipped at the gills
