Got a call today, that my 2nd 2 foot redline snakehead jumped out of the tank. Last week the other one decided to jump. Bought them before the ban. Been living in Los Angeles for the last couple of years, so I haven't been the one taking care of them. I bought them, when they were only a couple inches long. They are going to be missed. My Absolute favorite fish I have ever owned. Raise a glass for them!!!!!!!!!!!

The giant snakehead is my favorite fish, too. I have 3 in my 10x10m fishpool. The tank maybe less wide enough or need to be covered. I'm verry sorry of your snakeheads lost.
 
Sorry to hear that. Have any pics or Videos of them?

Just curious... when did the Ban go in effect?
 
Thanks everyone. The snakeheads were in a 125g. They would have been much bigger, but the tank stunted their growth. Before I moved to Los Angeles, I was hoping to move them into one of my 300 gallon stock tank. Different location, " apt to power outages during the winter." Had weights and straps on the tanks hood.
Don't have pics. Hoping they will send me some. I believe I have some video of them feeding. Thanks Again. Ban went into effect in OCT, 2002.
