lost one of my fish

i had a strong fish smell comin from one of my tanks went to find out and could not find it so i thought i might clean the powerhead in the 20 and took it apart and found one of my long fin tetras in the intake on the power head found the smell but lost a fish

I recently had a fei feng get stuck in one of my powerhead intakes, pissed me off - suckers ain't cheap.

At least you were alert when noticing the foul smell. A decaying fish stuck in a source where constant water flow goes through could have led to many problems. Sorry about your loss but congrats on your attentiveness.
