Lost one of my wolf fish.

WTFFFF...... I have always heard of people having a disappearing fish. I never thought it could happen to me. One of my wolf fish is gone. I had 2 of them around 7-8"s... There is no sign of the dead body anywhere. This is th3e weirdest thing I ever had happen to me I think in 15+ years . LOL, I guess I join the ranks of a few. Trust me I looked everywhere... :(
 
wow, sorry to hear that bro. happened to me with a peacock eel and a buetikoferi bichir. everything in the tank was the same size give or take an inch. spooky!
 
Sorry to hear. I had an 8 inch fire eel disappear once, never found it.
 
Yeah I mean I looked under the stand, around the stand under the adjacent Refrig., in the over flows. There is not anything in the tank that could devour him completely. I mean there are no bones or any signs of a carcass anywhere. I even slip off the light covers to look inside (knowing that no way in hell could he be in there).....
Yes, definitley a mystery!!!!

I think I might know what happen... mine jump out of the tank and somehow end up at the end of the room... then i found it almost harden and throw it away when i throw into the bit the mouth move so i test and put in water again..and it came to life again...haha

So I guess your might jump out and walk away..it can really live out of water for an hour if no air con...
 
I'm sorry to hear about this. Give it a day or two, and you'll smell it out ;)
 
sounds like it jumped this guys can gulp air so they can survive out of water for a few hours or as long as they sttay moist so look all over the room it COULD of gotten far for a fish atleast i would check every where within a 15 foot radious of the tank
 
Man you were right. It could have gone far. LOL, I found it. All the way on other side of the room with a mass of obstacles to go through. I have no idea how he got over there. How did I find him? I stepped on his lower jaw and yes the teeth did penetrate my heel. :( He never even smelled!!!
