Lost Power!

Ok so a quick description I have a 24" African Clown Knife very hardy fish... however sunday 7am due to storm in new england lost power....it is now wednesday 9am and still no power however the fish is still swimming and lively...Ive searched high and low for a power inverter so I can at least power it from my truck for a couple hours at a tick but the surrounding area is sold out...now my coworker has power and has one I can borrow but it more than likely wont be hooked up until 8-9pm this evening is the fish going to be ok???

If i were you i would take some water out and do water changes just to replenish the oxygen in the water until you can get some power to at least a filter in the tank.

well the small problem is I am without power and I have a well so I have no running power...

Try to buy a portable pump and air stone.That might work

a couple years ago we had a bad ice storm which knocked out the power for a week. I gathererd all my fish up and went to a nearby town fish store and he kept them alive until our power was restored. It got down to 55 degrees, no running water and no heat. Hope we never have to live through this again

well like I said tonight I will have a power source for him... I just wanted a more of a comfy feeling that 3 days he will be ok thats all...

Go to medical supply and get an O2 bottle. Respirator tubing is the same as air (stone) tubes.
That or use a SCUBA tank (cheeper &bigger) if you're certified, but the pluming would be a headache.
