The room I have my fish tank in has a lot of ambient light, it has two rather large windows up top near the ceiling that let a lot of light in, especially during the morning (took these pics around noon). The pictures make the room appear darker than it is, its pretty bright. Does this change my lighting requirements any? Can I get away with running one less bulb to save electricity? I plan on planting it with some dwarf hair grass and amazon sword, and maybe some others.. The tank is a 48x24x24 acrylic. I ordered a nova extreme 48" 4 bulbs (10k) T5 HO fixture. If I can save any electricity I will.... I took pictures so you can see... Sorry for the cloudy water I just set this tank up a couple hours ago, put an established fluval 404 off my breeder tank on it so no worry of cycling.
