lots of water changes

my tank has been set up now for about a month and a half and i have been doing water change after water change and it is still getting cloudy and a foggy tint about every 2 days. it is a 150 gl anf i have three hob filters and a rena xp3 and it is not staying clear whats the deal

If it is cycling, then you may have bacteria. I use Mardel Brite N Clear, and water clears up over night.

you did rinse the media before puting it in the filters right???

try the Brite-N-Clear or Acurrel F (clears in an hr or so). Check your readings on your tap water too.

Have you been using Dechlor? If you don't you could be killing off your Beneficial Bacteria with each water change, causing your tank to re-cycle..

you are not giving the tank ample time to cycle, by doing all the water changes you are taking out bacteria faster than it can grow. If your water parameters are in check, try leaving the tank alone.

mine will do that sometimes after i do a water change give it a day or 2 and it clears up
