Loud noise from the filter

Hello,

I have carried out a w/c today and cleaned the filter. Since cleaning the pump has been making a rumble/rattle noise. I sometimes get a similar noice when the pump needs cleaning.

I have checked the impellor and there are no signs of restrictions.

Any help will be appreciated. The filter in question is an internal fluval 3.

Howdy,

That could be as simple as air in the unit. Just shake it a bit while it's running and see if bubble emerge.
