Hey guys Louisiana salt water fishn slowly but steadily gettin up and goin.
I just got my first boat this year and my buddy turned sixteen at the begining of summer and we havent let B.P. stop us from fishn. We usually been fishn in lake ponchatran under and along the old bridge.
At the seabrook brige casting and blasting around the rocks and we been mobbing out on specks, white trout, drum, reds, monster croakers.
We been hitting up louisiana salt marshes catching all fish i listed.
We have caught a 4ft gator gar too in the s.w. marshes. oh yea forgot to mention we catch sail, hard head cat fish also.
We usually fish with live bait. we catch cast netting. and occasionally we use live or dead crabs and shrimp.
my buddy always fishes two ways which seems to work for him.
He will cast his bait and just real it in or work it like you would a artifical worm for bass or he cast it out on a bottom rig.
But me im all for fishing with the normal saltwater cork rig. and occasionally will fish with the bottom rig.
Shout out to all my Louisiana homies on mfk.
and don't let B.P. ruing your fishing season there is alot of great fishing spots open. And me and my buddie made posters that says B.P. just stands for big p#$$ys don't let them bring you down like their company.
and we staple em every where we go fishing or just plain out any where.
ight peace fellow mfkers
