I dont know how many of you all do this, but least a few times a month me, the gf, and my friend drive around all day and look at pet stores in our area. We like finding new ones as well and driving to see what they have. Anyway, thought I would start a list for others to see/ add to. You can do the same for your city.

Pets Palace-Bardstown
Pretty cool new store, other place was HUGE but this place is pretty cool. Good prices and neat stock.

Exotic pet and reef- Preston
Really cool saltwater stuff. Giant lionfish and huge eel on display. Ok fish selection, great reptiles and good prices.

Sandys Pet shop- Highlands? I think
Really nice salt selection, community fish, some africans and SA cichlids. prices are crazy (imo) but nice stuff.

Pets Galore- Grinstead drive
Pretty cool LFS. Decent stock on fish. Huge snake collection. You can find used tanks for sale cheap sometimes, which I love from a LFS. No saltwater, but some fresh

Greentree pet center- clarksville, IN
Awesome pet store, really really great fish selection both salt and fresh. Incredible prices, big tanks for cheap, nice staff and owner. All around amazing pet store. A++

Feeders supply- Dixie, preston, baxter ave etc
Not amazing price wise, but sometimes get some cool oddball stuff in. Prices can be really steep compared to other places, but It can be decent, Dixie is my personal fav.

Pet Paradise- new albany, IN
Small LFS, some birds, small animals, decent little fish section. Usually a few used tanks for cheap which is nice. not a huge selection but sometimes some cool stuff. Ferrets of course, no salt but sometimes will find some nice freshwater, decent prices.

Noahs ark pets- Outer Loop? I think
Pretty cool pet store, Fish layout is really nice, nice display and selection is decent for africans and some SA and CA cichlids, community too. Prices are ok, tanks and supplies a little steep, overall an ok place.

Thornhills- Dixie highway
Horrible establishment. Wil lgive fish lvoers nightmares, stay away!!

Any I missed? and check some of these places out!

I went to Pet's Palace two weeks ago, and they get a HUGE thumbs down. I've been waiting to get a SAL and the two that they had were in terrible condition. I'm going back there this weekend to see if those two have died yet.

I agree that Greentree Pet Center is great. It's the best LFS I've been to in the Louisville area. Will probably end up picking up FH fry there if Pet's Palace has no new lungs.

Feeder's Supply. I'm not familiar with all the location names, but I've been to three. The one on Shelbyville Rd across from the library, the one on Shelbyville Rd by the mall, and the one near Costco. I haven't bought much from either of those stores, but the one closer to the mall is my favorite.

Do you have an address for Pet Paradise? I found it on my GPS and follow the directions and ended up in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

I've never been to Thornhills, why is it bad?

Thornhills takes really bad care of their animals. Ive seen many many many dead/starving animals there over the years. I honestly think it is a front for drug running, since there is no way he makes money form that place. A hundred empty tanks and the ones with fish look like crap.
