Ive got a Motoro pup for sale here in MO. So I have him listed on CL and some other local spots.
Ive had three people email me and ask me about him. of course I want to know their set up and tell them what they can and cant have in their tanks due to I wont just sale to anyone.
Anyway, all are intrested till they see my price. Im asking 140.00 but always tell them Ill go as low as 125.00. I saved this little guy about 5 to 6 months ago from a LFS due to he was really thin and not looking good. Knowing Id prob sale him later. (didnt really need another male nor a pup rt now... running out of tanks till the pond is finished)
So as soon as they hear the price, they are like, "WOW, thats to much, They sale at Petland or Pet wharehouse for 60.00"
Of course I have to go back and say, Not a Motoro ray they dont. They sale what they call tea cups (retic) rays around here for that much, but not Motoro rays.
And they want to come back and say Im wrong.. Funny how Im wrong when I know every pet store manager around here and know were they get their rays. (when they get them) I also always get a call from them when they come in due to they want me to come up and buy it from them.
Anyway, just goes to tell you why Im so picky about who I sale him to. Ive turned two people down already, (not including the ones who have to small of a tank) and one away due to he lives in OK.
well, guess Ill keep on keeping on. Doesnt matter, been thinking about taking the postings down and just buying another tank for him anyway..
