My Heros notatus have free swimmers and my Hoplarchus have visible eggs in tanks right across from each other. ALL MY GREEN CICHLIDS ARE SPAWNING!!

Nice job with the psitticus! How long you had them? I have a 3-4 yo male who is probably mature. Wish I had a female.
Keep us posted on the eggs. You think they'll hatch?

This it the Hoplrachus' second spawn. The spawned for the 1st time right b4 we left for ACA, but they either ate the eggs or the fry while we were in Indy. She laid the eggs under the lip of the pot, it appears tht some have hatched, but I did see some egg fungus.

I gotta give props to ANTHONY at The Wet Spot for doing his best to sex them many months ago, not an easy task, ut he did it. I kept them separated for months and they can be nasty, but luckily they bonded pretty quickly after the nearly tripled in size. I'm lucky I guess.
