Hey all,
I've been reading as much of the information as i possobly can off this forum and all you guys/gals are awesome with a plethra(felt like being "smart", dont correct my spelling i fell smarter if i think its right)..of information.
I have a 350 Gallon tank set up right now with a few fish in there I love cichlids and when i established the tank i out some "common" cichlids in there until i get everything set pH, nitrate, etc, etc. Now im looking to move some of them and put more "exotic" cichlids in there. figured this place would be able to provide me with tons of informartion.
Currently I have 3.5" Tiger Oscar (Gfs fish), 3.5" Green Terror(male), 3" Pink convict(female), 3" Convict (Male)(paired with the pink ATM, soon to be removed), 2.5" Jewel, 2 1.5" Tigar barbs(ionno why their there anymore), 2" Jack dempsy, 2" Fire mouth, 2" Ice Blue Kenyi, 2" Bumble Bee zebra cichlid. As soon as the male convict is tanken out ill be putting back in 3 more 2-2.5" female convicts the male breed with all my females and i had to remove them i had 4 sets of fry which totaled to way to many fish haha. Also got a 1.5" guppy in there that was never eaten from the .5" feeder guppies i put in there and has kept growing. I also have 2 6" Red Eared Sliders in there Gf's turtles and they outgrew their tank, however they are to lazy to go after and of my fish they only eat dead fish now days...like i said lazy turtles.
Looking to add a pair of Cupid cichlids (my local fish stores will all buy their fry as they cant ever get them in), a male bolivian ram, a few geos, and some otheres, always open to input.
I have a 150 Gallon that will be set up shortly to remove fish and what not. I dont over crowd my tanks if i need more room I remove fish to a different tank so there is not any problems.
but yeah
Thanks for reading looking forward to being a member of this community.
David.
