Ive been wanting a ray for some time now,and woul make a great addition to my 415. But ive never had them and have done alot of research and am still scared to spend all that money and lose it. But than again if i dont try it ill never know.

2 florida gar and a tsn. All three are about 8-10 inches. I have a jag id like to put in there also but hes alone in a 180. Dont trust him.

Yea the jag isnt in there but i want to put him in. Unless i take the ray plung. I want to make the 180 a discus setup in the living room.

well, if you do start keeping rays, read all the stickys if you havnt already.
Id also sujest starting with a Motoro ray. They are good and heardy rays. Would make a great addition to your 415

to be very honest with you....rays (until u get into the higher end more finicky ones) arent terribly difficult to keep u have a 415 and im assuming been a fish keeper for a while so im sure u got it down pat.....many people just get lazy on water changes simple as that. Get one man there amazing fish ya there sometimes pricy but def worth it

from the sound of you saying your scared to me sounds like you will do great. the more i read the more intimidating it seemed to me. just go for it and keep your water on point. and start with motoro, but i didnt have the room for one and got hystix and has been easy so far. it will be the center piece of any tank. saw motoros central jersey lps 119.00 were eating not the greatest about6-7" pm if interested thought it was a pretty fair price

Lol in most cases it's not the higher end ones that are finicky it's the extra cheap ones. But other than that I agree do research on the specific type you want some are alot more easy to care for than others.
