After the horrifically catastrophic loss of my prized Peacock Bass (4 of them :,( ....) aka Death Day '14, I splurged on myself and found this little guy at The Aquarium Center in Clementon NJ for 9.99. His name is Lovey and at 3" he is already a Natural Born Killa. He's in my 180g and is the solitary resident.
I have only owned 2 other Dovii in my life and that was a mating pair years ago. This guy looks exactly like my male then. He was in a tank with 5 other Dovii and he was the boss. The other one's were very bland and yellow and their fins and scales were tattered. Hoping he is actually a he. Enjoy.
