Loving couple?

I've been trying to figure out what to keep in a 4x2x2 120g (lightly planted). Hoping for a single pair of relatively large and colorful CA/SA (No severums - have plenty of them) that are active with good "personality". GT, festae, Vieja....etc etc...you got the idea..

It has become clear to me that one major problem with this plan is that the male often bullies the female....sometimes a divider is required, which I really don't want...

So here is the question - in your experience, what species is least likely to have this problem?

Not sure if you like them or not, but most pike cichlids ... once paired ... have excellent strong bonds. Of course pairing them is a pain in the arse!!
