so its 1:50 a.m. and im awoken by the sound of on of my filters cracking loudly and come out and find that no water is being pumped. look around and all my other tanks (4) pumps are not working! wtf right? my bubbler is on (50%) all my lights in the home take time to turn on and if they do its @ like 50% power.... uh oh.... looks like there is an outage in my area is there any thing I can do ? I only have one bubbler on one of my tanks. will the other tanks be fine?

sacramento. online it said it will be fixed by 4 am lol but I just saw 2 electric co trucks on my street and looks like the problem is fixed

You should probably read this in case it happens again. Also invest in a battery operated air pump.

I went 3 days with no power over Christmas, lost nothing. Not even in the reef tank. just floated Ziplocs full of hot water to keep temps up.
Unless you have really sensitive fish or its super hot/cold I wouldn't worry too much over a few hrs...
