Let me know what you think ^_^
questions, comments and suggestions welcome !

The air pipe in the middle looks stupid. The rest looks awesome. Bathroom? Not a place I spend a lot of time. I "go" and go. But some people put tv's in there, so to each his own. A tank as nice as this needs to be seen... minus the location of that silly air pipe. Another guppy is about to pop out more babies!

yah i don't like the air tube there but it keeps the plants pushed back in the corner where i want them..and away from the filter intake ...so..meh gotta give in some where ^_^
thank you for the comment and yes!..i think both of the orange tailed females are with in a week of popping!

I might move the bubblier back to the corner there..not sure yet,

and yes the Bathroom..only cuz i have no other room for it ATM, mostly just for guppies to feed my sculpin

in theory, you don't need a bubbler in a planted tank . . . it can be counter-productive for the plants, since the surface gas-exchange releases CO2

during the day (or when lights are on), plants take up CO2 and release oxygen; at night, the reverse takes place and they relaease CO2 (at least, that is my understanding of the process)

I put my airstones on timers so that they only work at night, when the plants are releasing CO2

hm.....well that is good to know i had it in there for the sculpin, needing high DO..but i might just take it out if its not really doing any good....

so i kept it on last night and shut it off this morning when i got up..it allows my surface plants to go all over the tank and get pushed down by the filter..sucking it in to the intake..and it disperses the cover for the guppy fry....lost a few more then i like to the parents so i think ill stuck with the stupid looking air tub for sake of feeders ^_^

As long as you are having the results you want, stick with it. It isnt a planted display tank...although having it in the bathroom might make it a display tank whether you like it or not. :D
