i want to put plants in my tanks but i dont want to spend alot of money on co2, i know i need a good light, so any plants you would recommend

From my personal experience - Java moss, Java fern, Anubias nana, wisteria, dwarf lily, Cryptocoryne wendtii, Rotala indica, sagittaria subulata, variegated & regular baby tears (NOT "dwarf" baby tears), anacharis
Java fern and moss, anubias, most cryptocorynes, amazon swords, tiger lotus(especially if you allow it to grow floating leaves), bolbitis, hygrophila, hydrocotyle, dwarf sagiteria, rotala indica.

Crypts... even my "non-planted" tanks have these as I can't kill them, and they just propigate like crazy even under cheap t8 bulbs that are like 2 yrs old.. lol. I will say they do look nicer under my t5's but they do just fine in just about any lighting it seems.
