Picked it up at an LFS. It was a trade in and labeled as polypterus spp. ~10". I'm thinking Nigerian lap?
57-58 lateral scale count, 13 finlets.

Could just be me, but that looks like an upper jaw to me.

Does have more of a snakehead(less rounded forehead) appearance than my cb nile bichir.
