Thinking about purchasing a Jehmco LPH45 47 LPM@1.5 PSI linear piston pump for my fishroom, to be used on a PVC air system that I plan to build. I'm curious if this will do the job for my current tanks and air-lines.

240gal x 2
180 x 1
150 x 1
110 x 1
80 x 1
75 x 1
40b x 5
10 x 2

I want to get rid of some canisters and HOB filters and go mostly air so my goal is to use about 30-35 sponges.
I'd appreciate feedback on whether this pump can do the job, and how strong the air flow will be.

I highly recommend you call Jehmco and speak with John who will provide the best recommendation for which pump to use and sizing the PVC air system.

Before you call, know the tank heights, whether you will be using air stones with the sponge filters and if you plan on adding more filters in the future.

I used him and Jehmco when laying out my fish room and he was spot on for my needs. I am using a LPH60 for twenty 15" tall tanks with 2 Jet Lifter brand air lifts per tank.

I have a feeling the LPH45 may not be sufficient for your needs but I am not an expert at designing an air system.
