I just set up my new tank about a week ago and I have some life growing on my LR... Can Anyone identify what I have?

First two pics are of the same thing...

Third pic is of the little red and white finger-thing coming out the rock

Fourth pic is of the red vegetation

first could be a tube worm or could be an anemone of some type... possibly apistaisa but its a really bad picture so i wouldn't say anything for sure uless you can post a better picture, possibley from the side to get a profile on it

ummm third is a tube worm... aka good

forth no idea... macro algea of some type keep an eye on it as they can be a problem if they get out of control...

I googled pics and the aiptasia anemone looks right. So is that a good thing?

I took some more pics of the anemone, still not great but have a look. Also I have a sea star. It's real tiny but can anyone tell what it is?

ya its probably aiptasia... as for the star no idea, but if you intend to keep corals keep an eye on it as many stars eat corals.

I have a few of those popping up on one rock. I also have another anemone that is on a diff rock but looks completely different. I'll see if I can get a pic

There are tons of different little pest anemone's...you will be really lucky if it is a good kind.

nope if its aiptasia you want to kill it ASAP or they can become a plauge that is almost unstopable if you don't.

Also here is a good page to help ID hitchikers http://www.chucksaddiction.com/hitchhikers.html

Tanks over run with aiptasia are usually a sign of excess nutrients and subpar water quality. I do agree you should get rid of the aiptasia though because it is stinging celled and will harm other inhabitants and spread. Good luck killing it however. Just get a peppermint shrimp or two. They knock em out quick.
