Ok, I believe I will have to practice for the law school admissions test in order to properly set up my wall and tanks.
The following problem needs solved:
2 60 gallon tanks
1 40 breeder
2 Rena Filstar XP2 filters
2 Aquaclear 50 HOB
2 Aquaclear 30 HOB
Super Naturals Blue Ridge Gravel
Black Sand
Miracle Grow Organic Potting Soil
Laterite
Dragonstone for 1 tank
Ebony Lava Rock for one tank
Malaysian driftwood for one tank
Red Moor root for one tank
10 anubias nana
3 anubias barteri
Java moss
Ludwigia Repens
Najas Grass
1 Sailfin Pleco
1 Senegal Bichir
3 Rocket Gar
5 Peppered Cories
2 Bolivian Rams
1 Male Betta
5 Ghost Shrimp
6 Ottos
3 Nerite Snails
The following conditions exist:
1. The Bichir cannot be placed in a tank with Gravel.
2. The Cories need sand substrate.
3. The Rocket Gar and the Bichir will kill the Betta and the Shrimp if housed with them
4. The Rams prefer sand substrate
5. The Pleco can survive any substrate other than a potting soil, but the owner is hoping for bare bottom due to large quantities of excrement.
6. It is rumored Plecos will suck on Bichirs, although in this case both are about 8" long.
7. Owner wants a planted tank, but will live without one if impossible.
8. No tank should be overstocked
Any suggestions?
Also have 2 20 longs, a 20 high, 3 tens, 3 red cherry shrimp, one more Betta male and 3 more female Bettas.
