So iw as at the my LFS and I was looking around saw nothing to go wow about until I saw 5 of these normal RTC tailfins huddled under the filter. I asked if they were Red Tail Cats he looked at me and said almost they're a new Hybrid, Lima Shovlenose and a Red Tail Cat bred together. He bagged one and said see and he wasn't lying the tail of a RTC but with the head of a LSN? I looked at him and said that's one bad fish, he said 2 of the baddest FW fish ever mixed so I bought it for $17, he's about 3 or 4 inches long and an amazing looking fish.
Has anyone have any info on these little guys? I can't believe I got one.
