LSponge filters

I have these in my tanks, n canister, thinkin about turning off all canister n run sponge filters, could just these keep 180 , 125 water clean n clear, If I put 5 n 180 gal, Dam electric bill keep being high
I have 4 tanks 2 180 , 125 , 70 tall

It might work but that depends on the fish species and quantity in each tank.
 
No you still need current, I suggest using a big circulator or ph, that combined with a SF will suffice. Try cut back on your light(either none or a few hours per day), maybe put the canisters on a timer, 16 on 8 off. That should save you some cash.

Also pothos will greatly reduce your nitrates saving you even more $$ on water and the power that heats! Click link in my Sig!

sponge filters and ac110's will filter about anything ...and on a budget...:) or sponge filters on powerheads will work very well
