My luciocephalus pulcher passed away while I was away for a couple of day. Someone was watching him and feeding him. When I got home his stomach was big and bloated I am guessing he got a disease from a feeder fish but I tried to quarantine them so If you have any ideas please write back i feel horrible ☹ he was my favorite fish

If feeders are to be used, I feel its necessary to quarantine at least 2 months or so before feeding, it often takes that long for symptoms of disease to become apparent in them.
Better, would be to raise your own, to avoid the disease carriers bought in LFSs, all it takes is one parasite, and a tank is wiped out.
I don't think you should beat yourself up though, because Luciocephalus are very difficult to keep alive, even with clean feeders, they are very sensitive to even the slightest bit hard water, and a pH above 5, so unless you had a source of low pH, low mineral content water, it may have been a losing battle from the get go.
