Hi,sanchez

The biggest one I have seen was about 50cm ......it was a fish in Alcohol in a Museum!

The biggest one I kept at home was about 45cm !!!

yes,it is dead!

the fish was a long time the only speciemen of Ch. lucius here in Germany!

Unfortunatly it got a becterial infection,which I was not able to bing under control.....so I had to euthanase the fish.

In the meantime a friend of mine was in Krabi an was able to bring some new for me.

No I have got 4 of them at home,the largest one is about 30 cm at the moment and I think I have got a couple.......hope to breed them this year!

Pascal, how long did you have him for him to get that big?

Hi ,sanchez.............

The fish was about 15cm when i got it.

It took about one and a half year to get it this big!

But it allways depends on the size of the tank and the amount of food you give it!

It is always better to let the fish not grow as fast!
I feed my snakeheads only every second or third day..............and the big ones(65cm) only twice a week!

thanks Pascal, I have him in a 55gal right now he is about 7 inches and thats about how often i feed him as well........is he going to outgrow this tank?
