Has anyone had any luck with these guys?? I just read that one of our members (cichlidfiend I think) bought and lost 6 of them so I was just wondering.... Has anyone bought them and kept them alive?? I was planning on getting one from Wes (hes located like 20 min from me) but luckily (I guess) he never got back to me... Im still really considering doing a creni/discus tank in my 120 and want the pike to be something a little different....

I picked-up one of these about 3 weeks ago from Jeff, and had a little scare out of the gate, aquired "Ich" about four days after purchase:(

But,...I am happy to report, after raising temp to 86 and treating with Quick Cure- everything has cleared :)

The appetite of this fish never changed, even when Ich was present!
I had it on Rosies for the first week and after that...beleive it or not, tried NLS flakes and bloodworms-he took to both!! Flakes???? Crazy Huh!!

This fish seems to be hungry all the time...possibly something to do with the warm temp ??

I will post some pics soon;)

Please do post pics!! Anyone else???

Yeah that would be me...the killer of the multispinosa. A cross that I wish I did not bear.

Dont beat yourself man. These things are new to the hobby and we just havent worked out their ticks yet..... Besides, I cant keep a beani alive for the life of me no matter how hard I try....

Brian, you lost your multis?!? :(:( Wow, I feel for you. What happened?

My three are doing great. They eat NLS pellets almost exclusively now with an occasional treat of frozen blood worms or krill. My water temp is only about 76 so I don't think it is that critical.

The high water temperature will speed up their metabolism. You'll have to do more water changes but who cares they are going to grow quick. :nilly:

Still waiting on those pictures hahaha.
