Hi people,
I was looking at weening myself into a planted tank so I got some lucky bamboo and put it in the tank. Bottom of stalk is pushed into the sand layer and the top of it sticks above the water about 4 inches. It has several leaves growing already. But I noticed everyday that more and more bubbles form around the bamboo at the surface of the water. Now it looks like a mass of foam, almost like soap bubbles.
Has this happened for anyone? Was just wondering if it was bamboo related or something else. If it is soap bubbles it may confirm my suspicion of my 4 year old nephews being at fault. My sister left them unattended in my house a couple weeks ago and I have a feeling they were messing with my tank. (They were playing with bubbles that day too...
