Sadly I lost my 4 clowns a few weeks ago due to a stupid accident on my part( cleaned the sand substrate too deep and had a bad ammonia spike). I was going to hold off on buying clowns until I saw them go on sale again...
Hubby was out and about and stopped into a petstore. They had a sign on a tank stating all fish in tank were 1.29... Just happened to be a 5+ inch clown in there. Hubby doubled checked and all fish in that tank were on sale... He grabbed him up. Since we lost the others I wanted to grab him friends. I called to see how much their clowns normally are.. They only had "extra large" clowns in and were 69.99... But on sale for 29.99. No one else near me had any instock so I figured I would grab one of the large guys until I can grab a few more at a lower price.
Ended up leaving with 3 5"+ for the ten bucks each if I took all three... They had them for almost a month and no one wanted to pay what they were asking and they have more coming in on Thursday.
Just had to share my lucky find! All appear to be very healthy so I hope they thrive for me!
