My wife come outside while i was cutting grass and yelled 'come quick'. I come inside to find my pit puppy chewing on something which turns out to be my new 5" hoplo cat i just bought today. I throw it back in the tank and so far it seems ok, just a little roughed up. Wife said the puppy had been in there quiet for quite a while. Just shows how tough some fish are

I got home from work and found my green terror dead on the floor.
I was about to throw it in the bin and I noticed it's gills move. I held it upright in the water for about an hour until he started moving again. He is still going strong now about two years later.

I have since covered every mm of the tank as he squeezed through about an inch long opening. He is also still to this day petrified of the water surface.

Great save doctor.....

I have a 15G at work... When I leave for the weekend I set up the auto feeder... so I have to slide the lid over a little..

I went to work the following Monday and my red tailed catfish was on the floor.... Stiff as a pencil.....I wasn't as lucky as you were... :)

I ordered 12 F1 Rio Otapa Swordtails from Rapps for my Angel and Laetacara tank and went downstairs to check them out the morning after I got them and 10 of them we crusty on the floor. I never threw $140 into the garbage so quick.

Well after a bacterial infection and a dose of salt, its doing well. Fins and whiskers are growing back but it still has a dent in the head and a large patch of scales and skin missing across the back. We named it chewy
