This happened today i thought it was a cute story so i will share.
Yesterday i discorvered my momma hamster had escpaed the cage for whatever reason. I guess the kids were bugging to much so she wanted a day to herself. So we go crazy looking for her as she left behind 5 very young babis that were still not weaned that needed her. So we over turn everything, the dogs hadnt even barked at anything so we were lost as to where she went. today i wake up and do my normal routine of turning on my monitors lamp and i see into the empty tank next to him...it wasnt so empty...
SURPRISE! theres the hamster...how it got in there i dont know but i guess she couldnt find a way to get out. The monitor was going crazy rying to gt her through the class. I took her back to her kids and shes now snug and safe after her vacation.
I know the title says lucky and she truly is and heres why.....
the monitors cage doesnt have a lid...had she gone into the wrong cage..well.
AND the tank she did go into, 2 weeks ago was home to a 3ft female ball pythong.
