So I posted an ad on Facebook today looking for a 125 or 150. A few hours later I got a message from someone I barely know saying I can have his 125 setup for FREE if I just get it out of his way :grinno::grinno: I was picturing the standard 72x18 but when I got there I was surprised to see a 48x24x24, 120 gallon. Tank, stand, lights, glass lid, heaters, and a whole box of test kits, food, pumps, etc....

I have no idea what stock to do in this tank......ideas????

I know what to do.....give me your address, and I will come get it out of your way ;)

The 125 or 150 was to replace my current 135 that has a cracked bottom. My stand and canopy are very nice so im just looking for a replacement tank, or until i get the motivation to just replace the bottom panel. But i figure i can sell the 135 to a snake or reptile person for $100 or so and put that towards a replacement tank. The bottom pane is between all of the 4 side panes, so it makes for a real pain in the ass to replace.

Gotcha. In that case i'd do a breeding pair or new world cichlids. Or a CA/SA community, its really up to you. What are you in to?

I really like Barbs and other Asian species, but I always seem to go with that, so Im ready to try something else. I like fish that are active with alot of personality, maybe its just my past experiences but alot of SA Cichlids seem overly shy and hide when I get close to the tank. I do like some of the different Blood parrot varieties, I have a nice one that looks more like a Black convict/severum mix. Its always hard to decide what to do that I haven't done already in the past.

I would go semi aggressive community, bichirs, ebjd, various geos, acara, and thorichthys species, larger gouramis, synodontis cats, a school of a larger growing barb, maybe. Also could go discus/angels/rams/apistos/tetras/Cories with tons of fish possible to substitute in each set up
