Like it says, got in 15 of these beauties. . . they were supposed to be Frenata, obviously they aren't, so, what's your best guess? Notice the "flowers" just below the dorsal fin instead of a stripe. Could it be a juvie Lenticulata of some sort?

I am open to any and all guesses, they are supposed to be from Brazil. I love seeing what comes in when you order wild caught fish

kinda looks like a venezuelan thats starting to lose its juvi colors. but at the same time im not very convinced of that.

:D :D :D Do you ship to the US? ;)

Lents and marms alike are going to have more spotting on the face, especially at that size. ;)

Its possible its one of the sp. 'xingu' variants. Although it does have an uncanny resemblance to sp. 'venezuela' or even sp. 'lugubris', which is what I'd lean towards right now.

Grow them out sir! :D

looks awesome... but i dunno what they are...

Working on US shipping :D We also got Notopthalmus/Regani mix, Strigata and a red bodied "Lepidota" with tons of spangling that resembles Nickeriensis that Spencer caught in Surinam a few years ago - I'll get some pics :)

Thanks for the input PP - appreciate it!
