one of my goldfish, about 2.5 inches long, has a small lump on his left side in the stomach area. it is not that big, but it is noticable from above. Water params are fine, He is temporarily in a 20 long with three other smaller common goldfish. Is he constipated? If so how do i treat it? Thanks

tumor??? not sure from pic.

I have a fish named Peacock bass that is an expert and helping goldies like yours. I just toss them in the bass tank and the problem goes away. It's amazing,............

ya i thought of sending him to doctor brown bullhead, but no need if it is an easily curable problem. i think it is constipation, so i am just not feeding them for a few days.

Hey, that's not nice...I think this goldie is being kept as a pet.

To answer the question, I'd suspect some kind of bacterial infection.

no it is a pet, i was joking about it going to see doc. bullhead, and i would not feed a sick fish to another fish. Any ways, what could i do to treat it?
