Lump on Bichir's Back

Hello,

I have had my senegalus for about 9 months now. He is very active, social and always eats the moment food hits the water.

Unfortunately, I noticed yesterday he has developed a small lump about 2/3 the way down his dorsal side. The top of the lump exhibits a 'pimple-like' protrusion.

The lump itself is under his scales and was not there two days ago. I just did a 25% water change two days before I noticed the lump and also added an 'Al-Gone' to my Eheim 2215 the same day.

Does anyone have any insight? I appreciate any advice.

So it looks like halfway down this page http://www.wetwebmedia.com/fwsubwebindex/polypdisfaqs.htm it shows a lump similar to my bichir's.

Any recommendations on anti-biotics for this treatment?

What are your water parameters? Ammonia Nitrite and Nitrate also what is your Water Change schedule like?

PS What is "Al-Gone"
