lump on lip

my friends silver aro has a white pimple looking lump growing on the lip...anyone ever have this sort of thing happen to theirs...is it treatable...let me know thanks.

right on thank goodness its nothing bad...it just make the fish look awkward to me...the tank is a 55gal growout and his aro is 7inches...so its not a small tank...

could you net it and scrape it off with your nail? he might not like it but fish prob wont hold a grudge.

sometimes it is not permanent. I have 3 young silvers who had it from the transport. After one wek it was gone.
