My 13" male festae has been sick for the last 2 weeks. It started as him not swimming perfectly straight with his tail end up. Now one side of his stomach has a large hard lump, and he floats completly upside down under a rock. I have raised the temp up to 92 and been adding salt, but there has been no signs of improvement, the lump actually looks bigger.
Is this bloat? I do not have pics
please help!!!!
PH is Neutral no nitrates/ammonia

yes, that sounds like bloat.

Change water and use a hospital tank w/antibiotic.
It may be too late, but worth a try.

What do you feed?
What is your nitrite?
Why is it you have no nitrate?
Was the water test done before or after a water change?
What test kit do you use?
Temperature?
What is your usual maintenance schedule?
Filtration?
Tank size?
Tankmates?
Appearance of poop?
Do you have access to metronidazole? What other antibiotics can you access to?
What salt are you using and how much was dosed?

Do NOT treat with anything but metronidazole only. I'd suggest feeding the fish with metro or include metro in its foods. You can use a teaspoon per gallon of sodium chloride (no ferrous cyanide/yellow prussiate added). Add another two sets at 12-hour interval until you have a total of 3 tsp per gallon.
