Lunar light making Jag go crazy!

I bought these new lunar or moonlights for my aquarium and twice now my jag has smashed himself into the top glass covering the tank. Should i take down the lights or leave them?

It sounds like the rare parachromis species, werewolf cichlid.

But seriously, if you are afraid the jag will continue to do this behavior, take the lights out, there may be something about them he may just not like, or it might be something you changed entirely unlinked to the lights that you didn't even realize. Cichlids can be finicky at times, does he have tank mates that could cause this behavior? Maybe he feel cramped, what size of tank is he in? It could be many things, even increased traffic around the tank.

Havent changed anything, just lights. As soon as i put them on he went crazy.

Yup, guess ill take it off. Looks really nice with it on, makes my Gt's color glow.
