I have been feeding my senegalus, and his tank mates oscar mayer turkey slices, is this ok because they seem to like it and they have been growing on it pretty well. i also feed them worms and pellets but they like turkey the most. so is it ok if i keep feeding them this.:(

tank mates.
1...5'' oscar
1...7'' common pleco(eats zucchini and algae pellets doest really like turkey)
2...2.5'' tinfoil barbs(eat flakes and only a little bit of turkey)
1...5.5'' channel cat

There is a lot of preservitives and additives that arent necessary, and could foul your water. I would stick to pellets and other food intended for fish.

I agree, there is a lot of junk that isn't good for people, let alone fish. Go with frozen meaty products designed for fish.

Freshly cooked turkey meat would be fine as an occassional treat. But, avoid any processed meats. They contain huge amounts of nitrates that will overtax your filtration and require additional water changes to keep ahead of.
