as the topic says is this a big no no my lung nipped him already but no major harm done i dont think i have them in a temp set up until i can afford a larger tank they where both early xmas gifts

nice xmas gifts....is your lung african or south American...this can make a difference...if it is SA...you will be o.k.....if it is african....your BK will most likely end up killed.......goodluck with your new pets

post a picture and we'll let you know....(if it is uniform in color (brown)and has short stringlike fins it is probably an SA)

i went back to the place my g/f got it from its an african ... anyways i got it a 55gal tank for now i was going to also ask how do i make just regular tree wood good for a tank is there such a thing ?? and can i use sand with the lung fish or should i stick with gravel ??
