I'm curious to see if there are ANY records of ANY African lungfishes coexisting whatsoever. I am working on setting up a breeding program and am interested in hearing if anybody has found an "unknown secret" that allowed more than one to exist in the same aquarium. (Include ponds/pools if you will.)
Has anybody tried keeping 2 Africans of any species, of any size, together for longer than a few minutes? (Except for the idiotic LFS which result in chewed-up specimens.)
I have tried it only twice thus far, in the past year, once with babies, and once with subadults, with the same result. Two wide-open mouths squaring off. Didn't let it get past that stage!
