Lungfish, havent eat for 6 days.

My lung havent eaten now inn 6 days.
Do they do that or what could be wrong?

Should i drop a live fish down to him, and hope he will be territorial and eat him?

Im feeding most with dead shrimps and meat.
I have had him for 6 months without trouble, and feeding him daily and sometime 2 times pr day.
I change 30% water 3-5 days a week.
10-12 hours light a day, and he have floating plants and plants in the botoom to hide.
My next plan was to get him several Pipes to hide in, but first he must eat.

Have once tryed to intruduce him to another tank mate. The next day the tank mate was gone:P

I think stress i had a 3 feet silver aro that starve for 3 weeks i thought he was gonna die he just stayed in one corner allday n out of sudden he just start eating again u just never know
 
6 days isn't terrible. But what kind of meat are you feeding him? Most fish can't really digest mammalian tissue, you probably shouldn't feed much meat.
 
Thanks for the answer, was a bit calmer now.

I feed smashed ox heart every secound week to just give him something else, the other days it goes in frozen shrimp and fish.
 
He started eating again after 11 days. Now he eats like never before.
He was inn good shape before and after he stop eating. He dident loose any weight it seems from his 11 days witout food.

I cleaned up the whole aquarium, from top to bottom. Rensing plants and sand that kind off stuff, was a bit dirty. The plants really collect much small dirty particals from food. Throw som pipes down to him aswell. Now it look like a good place to live with plants and pipes:)
