My African lungfish who is currently in a separated part of my 125 while I think on where to put him broke out to the main section which has clown knifes along with other fish and had his rear legs chewed pretty far down they seem to have healed up nice and he's still eating very good but I was wondering if they will ever regrow

The same happened with me. I recently got an African Lung about 10" in a 785 gallon pond, also had a red-eared slider, two blood parrots and an oscar in the pond. The poor lungfish had a portion of his tail and two of his legs (front left and back right) bitten off by the terrapin. Whaddya recommend I do? I have a couple of tanks around in my house. I put my lungfish in one of them, it's about 20". Any further action needed?
